I know AtS is a fan but this is the first Janey Godley voice over I've found funny. I think NS's intro underlines her previous statement that Janey says what Nicola can't.
Listen to the tool asking the question. This is the standard you can get with a PR electoral system. He's on >60k without winning an election .

When they come to document the story of my life, I'm happy for them to omit certain facts.

Just heard that Trump has been criticised for touring a factory with an obligatory mask policy, without wearing a mask.

'I was wearing one in a back area' he is reported to have said.

Well, as most of his wisdom emanates from his back area, I suppose that is ok then.

Surprised he didn't refute the accusation with 'that is a barefaced lie'

This from The Guardian.
There’s sometimes a fine line between a government reacting nimbly to events and one that appears to be totally at sea. But right now Boris Johnson is working flat out to make it abundantly clear that his government has chosen to firmly come down on the side of complete cluelessness.

Building a staircase today I miscalculated, no surprise there and was short of a step. Luckily the concrete was still wet.

 The Tories probably wouldn't have won had there been anything even remotely resembling a viable alternative.

I wouldn’t have voted for them so there would have been an alternative for me, I have lived in both England and Scotland and that holds for both countries but I totally get where you are coming from.
