James Martin has a good one and he’s quite good at pastries I think. I’ve had a go myself but found it very hard going, they’re nice but nothing like from the bakery. I did think if I could do some of the rolling in the pasta machine to get some layers but I’ll leave that for a rainy day, good luck. Ps I’ve also tried bagels in the past, proper ones not those American type but again not massively successful.

You will find plenty of examples and techniques on Youtube. You'll also need a good supply of flour, yeast and butter (don't be tempted to use margarine). It is a slow process requiring several chilling and resting periods. This web page will give you a good idea of what is involved https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/homemade-croissants/

Making croissants from scratch is akin to cutting the lawn with a pair of scissors. You get a crappy result & it takes forever.
Buy 'em fresh at a decent bakers or oven ready frozen & save your energy for something more worthwhile. :)
