Apart from the fact it will make trips to his Spanish home more expensive (GBPvEUR), complicated (Immigration) and shorter (90 days max) which gives me a kind of warm feeling inside.

But as I said above if money is not an issue then it will not affect them.
Lots of wealthy people will continue make money from Brexit.

I agree ; there are rich investors who are already making money by shorting on sterling

My new neighbour voted Leave because one person who is a financial adviser told him to read one article in the Financial Times.
He made sure completion of the house sale was before 29th March, "otherwise I may not have been able to buy the place".
He complains non-stop about his pension because of the drop in sterling, and when reminded what the exchange rate was before the referendum he changes tack and "reminds" me about how the British bulldog spirit got us through WWll and rationing is no big deal.

He was born in 1952 and is living permanently in France.
When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Yep - he possibly needs medical attention. As in the recording above, why would anyone want to vote for something where they would find themselves needing the ''British Bulldog Spirit'' - barking.

Don't they all?

A guy on Twitter the other day was telling me Farage's Sunderland to London march attracted millions of pro-Brexit marchers and by the time it got to College Green there were more than 11 million of them!

The conversation went strangely quiet when I asked him for a link to his source of information!

I was forcefully and repeatedly told the same story a few months ago and of course when asked for a source or link the same rabid Brexiter was adamant it wasn't reported by the likes of the BBC and never would be because it seems the BBC is strongly anti-Brexit...

By the nature of what he did for a living that individual must have had some degree of effective intelligence but he had utterly unquestioningly bought into some form of alternative reality when it came to Brexit...some of what he came out with was real tinfoil hat stuff. To cap it all he had used FOM to leave the UK for elsewhere in the EU to minimise exposure paying UK tax because he was worried about the Socialists taking power in the future.
