I also had to fill out an API before travelling on Eurotunnel. I’ve never had to do that before.

Brittany Ferries on their website say that there will be no difference in procedures until the end of the year !

Eurotunnel have asked for APIs to be completed since 2017. If the API is not completed it is claimed that delays may occur at check-in. I completed my API at the first request but have still passed through the same check-in procedure as everyone else! All may change after 2020, but I have UK/ EU passports to play with.

I was doing that when booking on the Eurotunnel in 2015, it was part of the booking process. Not used the tunnel for a couple of years

Brittany Ferry last week, Portsmouth -Caen with dog.
