Not so much cooking but heating up.
sausage rolls from Lidil but cheese in them instead of sausage with a sort of puff pastry with potato and cream inside.
Not the healthiest meal in the world but nice.
Chocolate éclairs for desert just to keep the calorie count high.

Reheating what I cooked earlier in the week, I had no appetite after leaving hospital, I think its the continued industrial strength anti-biotics, the French say il faut manger pour donner envie de manger so I needed a kick start, I felt I needed comfort food but didnt want to renounce my healthy eating.

I thought that tartiflette might his the spot but I no longer eat potatoes so I made one with cauliflower instead and it was really nice, this is now the second one, give it a try, for me it lacks nothing and is an improvement.

Found some huge beef ribs at the arab butcher - €9,95 a kilo.. They cut in them in half for us as they were huge...

They are slow cooking in the oven right now getting ready to finish on the BBQ with corn on the cob, fresh green beans and tomato salad, russian potato salad and a strawberry cheesecake for dessert... the first strawberries from the greenhouse located on our property in Alicant - https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/465 ... asy-steps-

When in France, Sunday lunch is fairly casual, but as we’re in the UK at the moment and it’s Mothering Sunday it was a bit more traditional - with shortcuts. Roast lamb stuffed with leek, lemon and thyme stuffing à la M&S - it was just OK, with rosti potato and roast onions, parsnips, mushrooms and garlic, with a nice bottle of red wine, followed by M&S millionaire’s shortbread dessert and coffee.

Nothing much, very limited cooking facilities at the moment. I made a stovetop chicken casserole on Friday and there's still a lot left.
Normally I would be baking on a Sunday pm, some variety of bread.
