I have a feeling I read yesterday on another forum that someone did exactly that with a three uk sim and used it in France for internet, and immediately terminated the sim as it violated their t and c’s ......be careful.

Odd discussion. Most of the main French operators offer 4G routers now - it being 2019 and all.... Had mine for 2 years - brilliant, and nice to have dumped the landline altogether. No contract easy to cancel - why on earth would you use UK stuff in France? I must be missing something......

As you know I'm hopeless at most things, but I've got to confess I don't exactly understand. We have a contract with orange for Internet which includes a landline which we don't need and it costs about 40 euros each month , some years we cancel the contract and take all the gear back to orange, other times the stress is too much, queuing in the shop for ages etc. And we pay all year. I always ask them for the best deal for us, but they're not really interested, or perhaps get paid according to which deal they sell, I have got a dongle device which I mainly take on package holidays, I think they call it a domino here, I've got internet with legs purchased from Amazon on that, but unfortunately it doesn't work at our home in France, so where is the best place for me to get access to the Internet without a contract? We don't use it for streaming tv just browsing web.

I use this one

https://www.bouyguestelecom.fr/offres-i ... oaEALw_wcB

No contract, 30 day trial but you need to be eligible and have a good Bouygues 4G mobile signal near you.

Test here

All the big guys offer a similar service.
