Thats a great tip!

Next time that I completely **** something up and render it useless and worthless through my overconfidence and incompetence I will say that I am restoring it :good:

So far I have "restored" a brand new shower enclosure and a stained decorative double glazed sealed unit on the front door, very little really for 14 years. Oh I forgot, I have restored several computers that say "No!"

Hi
New to Forum.
Have ideas of moving to France

July and early August will spend 5 week touring France in our VW t25 campervan. If it behaves. Old vans are so unpredictable.

I have dual Nationality.
Only this year I obtained my Carte Identité Francais. Was motivated my Brexit.
My mother was French. My father still lives alone in Compiegne.

I speak French with a South London Accent. Not too pleasing to the hear. Would improve with more exposure to French Culture.

Look forward to browsing this forum for valuable info.

Rob

Compiegne is not too far from me, seemed like a town with some life unlike most, a bit of a culture shock.

I liked Chateau Pierrefonds. (the S might be an error)

I like Pierrefonds too. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

Not noticed many Brits around Compiegne. Except some times at the race track.
My Parents moved there over 25 years ago. The house is on the edge of the forest.
Very convenient location for us to visit.

What racetrack?

Would that be Folembray?

Have good memories of a weekend split between track days there and at Croix en Ternois :good:
