Hi
I left the UK many years ago with no desire ever to return and then retired to France a few years back. I have often visited ex-pat forums for info on things but with the likely coming changes it seemed a good time to join.

Très amicalement

Hello Just thought i'd say hello,
Im all into the peace perfect peace side of life and enjoy gardening my car and a few old motor cycles i have as a rainy day hobby plus as most ex-pats do
keep finding things to do to improve our home (or pottering as my wife says)

We are very much into all animals and have 3 rescue dogs,
We've been here 14 years now and i still dont talk the french talk very well but my wife is very good at it (what woman can't talk  )
We both really do love living here and hope to just enjoy peace perfect peace for the rest of our days here,

We have very few dislikes mine being hunters because i dont like to see animals killed that way and french drivers who drive within a few feet of your rear end if your not driving at what they think is fast enough and once they've overtaken you your left with a view of their rear brake lights coming on at every bend in the road.
But I still thank my lucky stars we have such a nice life here.

Welcome to the forum Bentley.
We used to know a Bentley, but he was a seafarer, like Bluto .

The French are a bit ignorant in all things motoring. They they don't understand etiquette, and that you should only overtake a Bentley motor car with the owners permission ;)
