You can watch BBC iPlayer, and the other major stations, via the internet using a VPN. There is an argument for trying a provider with a one month subscription before you spend money on a yearly contract. They don't all deliver what they promise. The BBC and some others seem to run a monitoring programme which identifies suspect logins. NEVER...

They do - it's called inclusive calls and costs extra. Most UK telecos have such arrangements.

I'm with Plusnet (a BT owned company) and 'anytime' calls to 01/02/03 numbers and mobiles costs an extra £9 month. International anytime calls are another £9 month but, if needed, work...

No, I would go for satellite broadband if I was being quoted 5 mg. This figure is based on extremely perfect conditions. In my case, the reality was 0.5 for most of the time!
