Did my fingerprints on the 18th. They said about a month before I receive my TDS. Has to be signed for and if you are not there you have 15 days to collect it from the Post Office. Enamel casserole, called a baster where I come from. Used to roast chickens as it has a domed lid. My mil gave it to us when we married in 1975 and my oh played drums on the lid as a toddler. So circa late 1940s.

I love the reponses - it make me feel all tingliy to think that people are still using things handed down - brilliant -the old stuff is usually the best cause it is quality :good:

Got out a cassarole dish yesterday evening (which I use a lot) and thought - wow that was in my bottom drawer as part of a set for wedding number 1. That was 1974 so dish a bit older than that. Saw Phil vickery saying that on any lean meat, put halfof sal and half of sugar and a bit of pepper. put over meat and leave for 20 mins. rinse off; pat dry - stops the meat drying out. A freind of mine got a CDS 2 years ago. She had her fingerprints taken then. Perigueux said all she had to do was post it back to them with a photo and they would reissue a TDS not necessary for a visit.
