Re: Make sure your in France on Brexit day Uks gone nuts

She did announce that freedom of movement would come to a halt on October 31st. Re: Is this the answer to the shortage of GPs in the countryside?

Re: Spare Bulbs ? What if LED

One of my cars has Xenon headlights, it uses bulbs and the only special tool to remove the lights is a key in the toolkit. 30 seconds or so to remove the light unit and bulb, another 30 seconds to replace the bulb and the unit. When I brought the car to France it had RHD headlights fitted and as dar...

Re: Transferwise problems?

I used TW yesterday, Tuesday 13th. The money was received within seconds at 14.47, the transfer was made at 14.48 and the euros were in my French account by the early evening. If anything the process was quicker than usual. Perhaps they are experiencing more trade today as the pound had risen a bit ...

Re: Classic BMW

I pay less than €45 a year to insure my 3.3 litre VdC and that includes breakdown insurance. My agent said I saved a lot by having it on a VdC CG.

Re: Electric cars

Sorry, the turbo did rely on the normal oil pump but when revved and switched off the turbo continued to spin after the engine and the oil supply had stopped. There were a lot of turbo bearing failures as a result.

Re: Electric cars

The problem was with the turbo bearings as the oil supply was cut with the ignition.
