Pharmacies authorised to give Covid vaccinations.
https://www.thelocal.fr/20210302/french-medical-regulator-authorises-pharmacies-to-give-covid-vaccines/ As the pharmacies have always been administering the annual flu jab, why on earth has it taken so long to get the pharmacies involved? In the same announcement, the HAS also approved the AstraZene...

Re: Locking wheel nuts on your car
"Doesn't it drain the battery? We have a tracker on one car that we think is responsible for excessive battery drain - and I wonder if a camera system would be the same" I looked it up on the Nextbase website, it says that:- "The hardwire kit includes a voltage protection unit which stops the vehicl...

Re: Locking wheel nuts on your car
The thieves sound like they are amateurs if they didn't check for locking wheel nuts - just about every car with alloys comes with them as as standard nowadays. As they had to have jacked it up, did the movement sensor trigger the alarm? Consider having good quality dashcam fitted if you haven't got...

Re: Are Merkel and Macron Playing politics with EU health?
France has only used about 55% of the vaccines that it has. Only better than Bulgaria and Hungary in this table from the FT from 3 days ago. I can't copy and show all the table as it's too big, just the bit at the bottom. https://www.ft.com/content/f009d255-8a7d-4bd1-8bfa-0d49b9647a71 The horizontal...

Re: Avoid using B10 diesel fuel - here's why.
I wonder what is so different about all the PSA and Renault engines produced for the last decade or two (for Renault) that dilution of the engine oil with carburant is not considered a problem? Remember it's diesel not petrol - so it's the problem of when the DPF goes into regeneration excess fuel ...

Avoid using B10 diesel fuel - here's why.
If you come across diesel fuel at the pump with a choice of B7 or B10 fuel - avoid the B10 unless you know your car is compatible with B10.

She can't go back to UK https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-56209007 Not exactly. But the court has left a loophole open for lawyers to make a few quid out of it in future. “The right to a fair hearing does not trump all other considerations, such as the safety of the public. If a vital public interest mak...

Re: Shamima Begum
She was born British but her citizenship was revoked, therefore she is no longer British. She has a legal claim on Pakistani citizenship through her parents so she is not stateless.

Re: Can this be welded
PS pumps are usually some sort of aluminium alloy - are you sure that the pipe is steel? Check it with a magnet. If it's non-magnetic it's probably aluminium of a sort. Unless you have a welder locally that knows how to weld aluminium properly with the correct gas and filler rods, and won't get the ...
