Re: Shamima Begum
Why has this particular woman been singled out as such a hate figure when other ISIS fighters have returned to Britain without huge furore? Perhaps because most of the others have only had UK nationality and thus it could not be stripped? She was dual national. And she was not the first to be strip...

Re: Online food shop.
A good tip :good: I have discarded the notion of gravy and embraced what it is considered in my new country, une sauce . As such why would I want it to be brown or dark brown other than it being what I was once used to? The colour should not change the taste, also why would I now use flour or Maize...

Re: Online food shop.
I really don't like the Bisto granules, but have used the original powder for many years. I've now run out. Re: The new, gutless, Labour Party?
From Plog's link: [Starmer] said his message to the government was: “Up against no deal, we accept this deal, but the consequences of it are yours. And yours alone. We will hold you to account for it every second you are in power .” There's not much of the holding to account if the word isn't now e...

Re: The new, gutless, Labour Party?
A rather ginormous elephant in the room to try and ignore I think. As Plog pointed out they voted with the govt on the deal but surely they could still criticize the govt handling of the problems being encountered - fishing industry and so forth. He didn’t mention it in his speech either. Not sure w...
Re: Is it me?
This may be eclipsed soon. Charles has been to visit his dad in hospital which in current circumstances would only be permitted in exceptional circumstances.
