Re: Jack Charlton RIP

Have been my through football memorabilia today and have found a signed copy of his autobiography and also a signed menu from a Sporting Lunch I went to back in 1996 with Jack, Nobby Stiles, Gordon Banks and Wilf McGuinness. Can't believe I met him at least three times and didn't remember. :o

Re: Jack Charlton RIP

Sat next to him at the 1988 Cup Final which for a Leeds fan like me was like sitting next to god, must have bored him silly asking about his time there but he never told me to shut up, he had an amazing life and was loved by everyone.

Re: Why are they here.

On another forum writing anything critical is a big no-no and you get jumped on, start a UK bashing thread though gets a round of applause and a thousand likes. Every country has faults and I can't see a problem with pointing them out.

Re: MULTIPLE FORUMS

One football, three French including here although I rarely look/post on one as it's pretty dead and ALBF is a regular (quite a clue). To be honest I probably could use my time better but when work's done for the day it's an easy switch off.

Re: Édouard Philippe resigns as prime minister.

The next two years are going to be interesting, Philippe will bunker down in Le Harve where he can plan a presidential campaign meanwhile in Paris Macron will shovel shit Philippe's direction over the handling of Covid-19 whilst at the same time dealing with the economic aftermath, the gilet jaunes,...

Re: Trump, this is alarming.

If Biden keeps the 'gaffes' to a minimum and picks a good running mate then he should win as Trump has completely lost control. The saddest thing though which Plog has already mentioned is that the US has a complete dearth of suitable presidential candidates so once again voters will have to choose ...
