Re: Johnson

Not forgetting that the unionists are not, of course, English so are not covered by Ally's definition above. Then "getting out of Ireland" implies that the English are in some sort of way occupying the six counties. Surely most people in Britain today would be both pleased and relieved if NI united...

Re: Johnson

1. Stop calling it an Irish problem. Brexit is an English problem.
 Not just the English; don't forget the Taffies.
2. Get out of Ireland.
:? Are the Unionists not Irish? Where should they go?

Re: Driving with no insurance or licence

Re: Driving with no insurance or licence

Don't know - it's a lot though isn't it!? Indeed it is... and that's not counting all those sans permis. Thought I was in trouble yesterday when turning out of our drive and had to stop to let a SP go by, travelling in my intended direction. But the thing was absolutely flying and it took me ...

Re: Internet bank in France

I have a Currencyfair account but have not needed to use it for years, I know about the costs but wanted to know how a transfer with a borderless account like Revolut compared, say £20K or €20K a pop. £20k transfer via TransferWise would cost 0.37% of interbank rate whilst Revolut would cost 0.5%. ...

:? Transferwise put up their fees in June. To their credit they have been completely open about it but is there a less expensive alternative now available? Revolut perhaps?

Re: fat free/low fat Greek yoghurt

:) I lived in Greece in 1946/7. The only yogurt I remember there was made with full fat milk from a sheep, came in individual ceramic pots and had a fairly thick layer of skin on top. It was creamy, rich and so tart we would have to add either sugar or honey. Have never seen anything like it since b...
